It’s a well-known fact that interior design styles and color preferences change practically by the day. The same is true with popular paint colors. In fact, many of the top paint manufactures publish their “color of the year” and sometimes even a “color of the month.”

When looking for fairly easy and cost effective ways to update your home, consider re-painting or updating your color choices to a more popular hue. Paint really is one of the most cost-efficient investments in your home and portrays an updated clean appearance that spells “value” to a buyer.

In a recent online article from This Old House,  Elizabeth Lilly explored the top colors in 2015 from a number of the top paint manufacturers. Below are a few highlights from the article along with some of my favorites.

So, if you need a little inspiration for color ideas or motivation to do that paint overhaul on that room that’s been “driving you crazy,” take a look at this year’s top color trends.
